iPod touch 2G finally jailbroken with NitroKey

The iPhone Dev Team hackers have been teasing their redsn0w iPod touch jailbreak for what seems like forever now, but those you tired of waiting might want to check out the just-released NitroKey Slipstream. The $15 software does its thing on the 2.2.1 firmware, and automatically installs Cydia for all that jailbroken app action you crave — including the new paid apps store. Windows-only for now, but there’s apparently a Mac version in the works — hopefully we’ll see the free redsn0w take the lead back on that front. Report back if you take the plunge, would you?

In the past you had real CPU’s and it was not a problem to determine what exactly you had in your SPARC system, now days with multi core and multi threaded CPU’s its more and more difficult to figure out if you have just one socket (real CPU) or multiple cores or even threads as it is on T2000 series.
Easiest way is to take a look at the following command with -pv options:
# psrinfo -pv
The physical processor has 2 virtual processors (0 16)
UltraSPARC-IV+ (portid 0 impl 0×19 ver 0×22 clock 1500 MHz)
The physical processor has 2 virtual processors (2 18)
UltraSPARC-IV+ (portid 2 impl 0×19 ver 0×22 clock 1500 MHz)
# uname -a

# psrinfo -pv
The physical processor has 16 virtual processors (0-15)

An overweight guy calls a company and orders their 5-day, 10 lb. Weight loss program.
The next day, there’s a knock on the door and there stands before him a voluptuous, athletic, 19 year old babe dressed in nothing but a pair of Nike running shoes and a sign around her neck.
She introduces herself as a representative of the weight loss company.
The sign reads, ‘If you can catch me, you can have me.’
Without a second thought, he takes off after her. A few miles later huffing and puffing, he finally gives up.
