You’re setting up a user group and want to give only the minimum permissions required for the task at hand.  The task includes being able to change Server Use and/or Deployment Stage for a given server.

Additional permissions needed in the user group:

- Customers tab:
– all customers need to be set to Read & Write (or at least for the customers which you want to grant to the basic agent deployment group)

- Facilities tab:
– all facilities need to be set to Read & Write (or at least for the facilities which you want to grant to the basic agent deployment group)

And that’s it.

Notes:

1. To change the Server Use or Deployment Stage, the user will need to do so via the web UI, not the Java UI.
