So I upgraded my solaris server to latest kernel patch and of course it had sendmail as part of that kernel. My emails stopped flowing around. Was looking how to fix it as my home server is my default mail gateway for my email. So anyway in my sendmail config I had the following lines:
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=587, Name=MSA, M=E
so I changed them to all 0′s:
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Addr=0.0.0.0, Name=MTA
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=587, Name=MSA, M=E
then I removed the Addr field
# SMTP daemon options
O DaemonPortOptions=Name=MTA
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=587, Name=MSA, M=E
Awesome, I was trying to jailbreak it and it was rebooting every time I did go to jailbreakme.com…
What you have to do to acomplish jailbreaking your 3g ipad is to disable your 3g and use wifi only. it works like a charm great work guys with jailbreak… loving it. I am unix guy so I was looking for the term and ssh options… so many thanks.
Procedure to mount ISO images under Linux
1) You must login as a root user
2) Create the directory i.e. mount point:
# mkdir -p /mnt/temp_disk1
3) Use mount command to mount iso file called disk1.iso with loop option:
# mount -o loop disk1.iso /mnt/temp_disk1
Now you should be able to access all the files on that ISO image. Please note, you have to provide full path to iso image, not just iso image alone.
Here is my first impression of Apple’s latest gadget iPad. Well, I am a little disappointed to be honest with you. I am waiting for my iPad 3G which will be released at the end of this month, but I got an opportunity to play with Wi-Fi model for now. I do not want to say bad things about Apple and what they did release, and I am not trying to convince you not to buy it. I am just trying to say that I was disappointed when I got a chance to play with it. So why was I disappointed? Well, this device is nothing else other than iPod Touch but bigger and heavier. I was looking for iTouch with 3g, which was my dream, so when Apple announced iPad I was excited and I wanted to get it so much. All I wanted was to have iPhone without voice but with data plan, where I could access internet at anywhere at any time. So I was so eager to get my hands on this iPad. What a bummer when I did see old games from iTouch on iPad. That magnification x2 or small display at x1 resolution seriously blows. Yes, I know new applications will be coming out and they will take advantage of the new resolution but that just was my experience, half ass work on Apple’s side. Not prepared for anything, they just wanted to release it, make tons in profits and don’t care about anything else… Its heavy, playing for 10-15 minutes made my hands tired, imagine playing for hours? No camera, no flash video… I am feeling like Apple is trying to rip people off by repackaging iPod iTouch into new case, putting extra battery (singe it has two and much bigger, but then it needs more power since its bigger device.). Ok, it has faster CPU, well with this display they need it, so it’s not so much comparable… Well, I am just disappointed…
I just came across Vincent Laforet’s website, what did stand out quite a lot was his amazing work. I have Canon 5D mark II camera and he did shoot some video with that camera and it is more than just impressive, it is simply amazing.
I am just blowed away by his work, simply amazing. I wish that I could create something of that magnitude…
